THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE LAW..Buy Dansan Njeru Gitari....The Holy Bible reports to us that no one was able to fulfill all the requirements of the law.Let the following sçriptures confirm the Fact."Therefore, let it be known to you brethren that, through this man(Jesus Christ) to you the forginess of sins ,and by hi everyone who believes is justified by from all these things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses."(Acts13:38-39)...When the dispute arose between men from Judea and the apostle Poul,Barnabas and certain others, decided to go to go up to Jerusalem to see the other apostles and elders there, because the men came from Judea, wanted to tie the disciples to the law of Moses Which God had given to Israelites.(Ezra7:6)So,Poul and his associated determined to go and settle the dispute with the other apostles and elders there. The Bible says:"And when there had been much dispute,Peter rose up and said to them..........Now therefore, why do you test God by putting a yoke on the necks of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?(Acts15:10).Now, because the law was weak and powerless, did Jesus Christ abolish it?Some believers do not realize that the law of Moses was given by God.Jesus the Christ had said;"Do not think that I have come to abolish the law of the prophets:I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."(Mathrw5:17).....How did Christ fulfill the requirements of the law for the righteous? The Holy Bible is very explicit about the matter."For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature,God did by sending His own son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering and so He condemned sin in sinful man,in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us,who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the spirit"The Holy word of GOD Concludes;"For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law"(Romans3:28).Amen!!! Amen!!!.
