THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT

THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT...By Dansan Njeru Gitari...The Holy Bible tells about the FRUIT of the Spirit having nine segments in it.It says;"But the fruit of the Spirit is;love,joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.Against such,there is no law."(Galatians5:22-23).The Bible talks about One sing Fruit with nine segments.Not many Frults.Singular not Plural.We may use an orange fruit as an exampel:if you take away the outer covering of it,you will see small divisions of it's segments.So is the Fruit of the Spirit...Having the fruit of the Spirit means that we have all the nine segments in us,and they must be noticed in our lives; wherever we are,in whatever situation we are,and whichever Calamity we are confronted with.So,we live in the Spirit and we must walk in the Spirit."If we live in the Spirit,let us walk in the spirit"(Galatians5:25).....WALKING IN LOVE..The first segment mentioned in Galatians 5verse22,is "LOVE".Love was prepared by the ALMIGHTY GOD beforehand after creating man in His own image,male and female,God showed His Love to them by blessing,and providing them with food."And God said,see I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth,and every tree whose fault yields seed:to you it shall be for food."(Genesis1:29).Also,the Almighty God gave them animal flesh to be their food( excluding blood)."Every moving thing that lives,shall be food for you.I have given you all things,even as the green herbs.But you shall not eat flesh with it's live,that is it's blood."(Genesis9:3-4).The ALMIGHTY GOD dealt with His creation lovingly,all the way long from dispensation to dispensation.He showed exceeding love for us when He gave His only begoten Son to die for our sins.(John3:16).He loved loved us first.We could not even know how to love Him.The Bible says;"In this love,not that we loved God,but that He loved us and sent His Son to the propitiation for our sins."(1John4:10)and verse 19 says"We love Him because He first loved us"God's love is unconditional,as this implies that "....

He makes His son rise on the evil and on the good,and sends rain on the just and on the in just"(Mathrw5:45).We are asked to imitate God."Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.And walk love as Christ also Has loved us and given Himselve for us,an offering and a Sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling aroma."(Ephesians 5:1-2).LOVE was first prepared by God in Creation.Then it came to us in abundance through Jesus Christ.Everything else will fail but LOVE will never fail.LOVE is the greatest of all.(1Corinthians13:8-13).Being new in Jesus Christ,let us walk in LOVE!..Amen!!
